A trip to the national park will take you to the beautiful Saimaa archipelago during the autumn, daily until the arrival of ice, for a self-guided adventure. The route follows the waters of Lake Saimaa, the home of the Saimaa ringed seal, towards Linnansaari, where you have the opportunity to walk to the Linnavuori viewpoint.

The Linnavuori viewpoint is a high cliff located in the northwest part of Linnansaari Island. It's a great place to admire the delightful lake views of Saimaa. The distance to the hill from the pier is approximately 0.5 km one way, and there are good metal stairs leading to the viewpoint.

You can bring your dog on the trip (remember that dogs must always be kept on a leash in the national park). On the boat, you can purchase drinks and some snacks. Join us for a day trip in the heart of beautiful Saimaa!

Departure from Järvisydän at 10:00 AM, main pier.
Arrival at Linnansaari at 10:45 AM.
The waiting time for the boat on the island is 45 minutes, from 10:45 AM to 11:30 AM.
Return departure from Linnansaari at 11:30 AM.
Arrival at Järvisydän at around 12:15 PM.
Reservations can be conveniently made online, by 4:00 PM the day before the trip. The journey to Linnansaari takes about 45 minutes, and the entire trip lasts approximately 2.5 hours. Note: Dress appropriately for the weather!
