Please note that starting from 1st of october all yoga classes are held in Kuru Resort.

  1. Warm yoga

    9 Options
    Järvisydän’s Warm Yoga takes place on the tropical yoga loft of the Lake Spa, where in a temperature of around 32°C we develop both strength and flexibility — without forgetting peace of mind.
    The calm pace helps you create your own little bubble, and after the class you’ll feel euphorically relaxed.
    The session adapts to suit everyone, as the instructor provides options for different levels.
    NOTE! The yoga class is held at the spa!

    When is warm yoga not recommended?
    If you have a heart or cardiovascular disease, or if you cannot tolerate heat or saunas.
    In some cases, diabetes may be a contraindication — please ask your doctor for advice.
    If you have low blood pressure or experience dizziness (sometimes a calm pace and lighter movements may still be suitable).

  2. Gentle morning yoga in Kuru

    Give your body and mind a gentle wake-up call with a morning yoga session!

    Yoga pays special attention to your spine, relieving tensions in both body and mind. An hour-long moment of serenity in the morning energises you throughout the upcoming day. Morning yoga gently engages your back muscles and reduces tension at the front part of body, allowing more space for natural breathing - providing you with the best possible way to start your day.
    Suitable for everyone.
    Class is held in Kuru Resort yoga space. Please arrive min. 10min prior the class. If you are staying in Järvisydän, it is ca. 700m walk.

  3. Siesta

    7 Options
    As the name promises, Siesta is a class for pure relaxation and rest.
    This class combines gentle movement that eases any tensions in the body and a sound bath that is an experience where you can enjoy the nurturing sounds of Tibetan bowls.

    Class is held in Kuru Resort main building. When arriving from Järvisydän take ca. 15min for the walk and preparing for the class.

  4. Air Yin Yoga

    5 Options
    Air Yin Yoga is a yin yoga practice done with low hammocks, about knee height. The gentle support of the hammock and the slight swaying movement guide the body and mind into a state of sweet relaxation, on the body’s own terms. Compared to traditional yin yoga, air yin yoga allows for small movement alongside stillness, which effectively soothes an overactive nervous system. We also use yoga bolsters and blankets as props to help you find the most comfortable position for your own body.
