Chemical peel
This treatment is a highly effective fruit acid treatment also known as a chemical peel that mainly consists of AHA acid. When they are placed on the skin, the bonds between the skin cells are loosened, so the top layer is removed.
Fruit acid peels are used in connection with wrinkles, damage from UV-radiation, uneven skin structure, impure skin, pigmentation, large pores and dull skin.
Immediately after a Therapro treatment the skin may react to the peel. Common reactions are tingling, slight burning, warmth and slight to intense redness. Afterwards, there may be a feeling of dryness, tightness and flaky areas, the side effects disappear immediately or at the latest 1-2 days after the treatment. In a case with acne, it can lead to a worsening of the state of your acne from the first treatment.
